Hugh and I took a trip out to the Territory WildLife Park, a first for Hughie.
I got up close and personal with a Tawny Frogmouth, one of the birds I most like.See this link to get more information. It was great to actually stroke one.
When is a bird not a piece of wood? I have yet to see one in the wild,
here is the reason why, look at the colours:
Again,with the Black Kites circling overhead the Tawny Frogmouth was keeping its eyes on the threats overhead.
This guide and her charge an Owl seem to be looking at the same thing with the same expression.
This Osprey was checking out the Black Kites circling above, before it ate its fish.
