Meeting at Palmerston campus

The Reference and Information Servics team along with a couple of us from the Liaison team met in the Palmerston Campus Learning Precinct this morning and had a great morning tea along with some weeding of the collection. It's a pretty location alongside the lake.

A great day for sailing

I got a phone call this morning, would I like to go sailing? Very much yes! So I joined Julie, Margaret, David and Craig on Adam Gollow's 10.4 metre (34 foot) catamaran Khamsin.

At times it was quite hot but when we got a good wind it was pleasant to be out on the water.

Curlews

Proud parent, but still very very protective. In the last few days I noticed that the Curlews were no longer on the nest. Tonight I noticed that there is at least one chick which was promptly placed under the wings and sat on for protection. Meanwhile I was hissed at so did not trouble them anymore.
