Bush Thick-knee/Bush Stone Curlews at ANU facillity
As I went to my car park tonight I saw this Curlew. I had my cameras with me and got a few shots.He started to hiss at me and it was then that I realised he was protecting his mate on the nest quite a distance away from where I saw him. The natural camouflage makes them hard to spot
