Hugh worked a shift at the Saville where I picked him up and then we went to Mindil, where Hughie became part of the buskers act, steadying his ladder whilst he juggled flaming sticks.
My efforts of super macro ended up being rather abstract. We had lunch at the Corroboree Park Tavern and checked out the locals again: Brutus the saltwater crocodile was out sunning himself on his lawn by his private pool.
Hugh and I took the 4WD out to Fogg Dam for a photography trip:
Being towards the end of the dry, there is not a lot of water, nor are there huge flocks of birds although still plentiful. We saw Egrets, Magpie Geese, a couple of Jacanas,some Glossy Ibis (click here for more information) etc The flowers are still pretty though.
There are three cats running the house at Redwood Park, Petal a tiny Siamese: and dear Molly, part Oriental who survives despite a chronic lung condition: and there is Bee who rules the garden.
Had a dinner with Barbara and her children and sister Jo and Wayne her husband and also with long time associate, Philip Keane. Max enjoyed himself
On the Sunday we drove to Birdwood for a junior football carnival for young Max and Karen drove up to catch up with Barbara and convey me back to Adelaide.
